The area surrounding the campsite is rich in beauty and full of adventures. Just a couple of minutes by car you can touch and feel the iron sculpture "Seven magical points" by Martti Aiha. This is the nearest of several artworks from the Artscape Nordland project. Several more are just an hour or two away.
Relaxing walks along the beach are available straigth from the campsite. And if you want the bigger picture, there are plenty of hiking trails nearby. Kvitnesvetten, 303 meters above sea level is reached in an hour and provides stunning views.
When the temperature permits swimming, we have our own beach, with clear and fresh water. On both sides of the Tjeldsundet sound the beaches are snowy white beacuse of the coral sand, and the landscape is open and inviting.
